When my family came to our new house, the backyard was so dull and empty. So I decided to plants some flowers and herbs. I also wanted to have a landscape to make it more interesting and appealing. But when I told it to my mother, she did not agree to what I wanted because gardening skills requires a hand for gardening. Actually, I didn’t really understood what she meant by that so I didn’t take her advice seriously. I got my gardening tools and start digging.
After that weekend, it looks good though I haven’t started to make the landscape. But after some more weeks, my plants started to die. I don’t know what went wrong but I took care of them. I water them; I put fertilizers and did what those plants need. Then, I recall what my mother told me. Maybe that what she meant by what she said. Maybe I don’t have the hand for gardening.
No matter what effort I did, if I don’t have the right skills, I won’t make. So, my husband called a landscape architect and let them manage my garden while I enjoy how they make those designs. If only I took the advice of my mom right away, I won’t have to waste time and money but on the contrary, I learn a lot from that experience.
