My mother loves to rearrange the house’s style and innovate it into a “better” one but sometimes her sense of style makes the house a bit disastrous. She sometimes paints the walls with colors that don’t compliment the furniture. So I got fed up with her trying hard designing skills and seek for an interior designer. When the designer came, she asks my mom about her interests and plans for her house. So the designer went to every room of the house and 2 days after, she came back and brought with her the sketch of the design and my mom loved it. So as soon as they found the right time to fix everything, everything started to go crazy.
And just a few days of painting and decorating, it was done. My mom loves it as much as I do. And guess what? She never attempted to redecorate the house. She maintained the designs. Repaint the walls when needed but with the same colors. Added some detailed but now, she took the advice of the designer and only buys stuff that matches the room’s designs. So for those who aspires to make their home into an inviting one, make sure you somehow seek for an opinion from a real designer to prevent a disaster.
