Tips to save energy

As we all know, everything starts to become pricey. Fuel costs are raised high as well as energy. But it’s not easy to avoid using the air condition during summer but we have to save energy to prevent the bills to raise higher too. Here are some tips that I learned from a friend. Make sure that you clean the air filter and check it monthly if it is clean. Have the outside condenser coil cleaned once a year. Never turn on the switch for less than five minutes after turning it off. It may damage the A/C permanently. Be sure to save all the “cool air” in your room by closing all windows.

If you will leave the room for just a few minutes, don’t turn off the A/C because the hest will build up to walls and furniture and will make the A/C work harder to cool the place. Instead, have the temperature to a less cool temperature to maintain the level of coolness in the room. If you really want to save more energy, just open all your windows when wind starts to blow and just turn on the A/C when heat starts to sizzle up. I hope these tips will help you enjoy a cool summer!
